KABUL, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Afghan government's National Procurement Commission (NPC) has approved 52 contracts worth 8.1 billion afghani (104 million U.S. dollars), said a statement released here on Wednesday.
Participants of NPC's recent meeting with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair discussed 59 contracts on different fields and approved 52 of them, including procurement draft on consultative services for maintaining Afghanistan airspace control, building roads, fighting air pollution and organizing traffic in Kabul city.
At the meeting, the president called for timely execution of the contracts and implementation of the projects, noting no delay in the implementation of public projects was acceptable for the people.
