THE HAGUE, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- A special anti-terror unit of the Dutch police arrested two suspects for allegedly planning a terrorist attack in the Netherlands, the Dutch public prosecutor announced on Tuesday .
The arrests took place in The Hague and Zoetermeer on Monday. The two men, aged 20 and 34 years old respectively from Zoetermeer, are suspected of planning a terrorist attack with one or more car bombs and bomb jackets by the end of this year in the Netherlands. The target of the planned attack is yet unknown.
After information by the general intelligence and security service AIVD the arrests were done by the special interventions unit DSI.
The houses of both suspects are being searched. Enditem
