BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Mutianyu Great Wall has a spectacular view in autumn as the fall foliage hitting local peak.
About 73 kilometers away from down-town Beijing, the forest-coverage rate here is over 90 percent.
The Mutianyu part was built by General Xu Da in the early Ming Dynasty more than 600 years ago, and was mainly used for military defense.
