WARSAW, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and two others injured by poisonous smoke on Friday in a townhouse fire in downtown Szczecin, northwest Poland.
Dozens people were evacuated from the building in the wake of the fire, according to Polish Press Agency.
Firefighters found the three bodies on the third floor of a tenement house at Malkowski Street in the center of Szczecin.
"Two people are injured, poisoned," said the spokesman for the provincial command of the State Fire Service, Tomasz Kubiak.
According to Kubiak, the fire has been brought under control, but the extinguishing efforts are still going on. Enditem
