BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A regulation on the management of smart express delivery box services will take effect Tuesday.
Smart express delivery boxes are increasingly becoming an important part of China's express delivery services. Data showed that the country now has around 320,000 sets of smart express delivery boxes.
The regulation, released by the State Post Bureau, stipulates that delivery personnel should obtain consent from recipients when storing deliveries in the smart express delivery boxes and inform recipients after the storage.
Smart express delivery box operators should enhance the security of data and deliveries, the regulation says. Enditem
