CAIRO, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Egypt denounced on Wednesday a a massive explosion that rocked Afghanistan's capital Kabul near an international complex, a statement of Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Egyptian government and people support the government and people of Afghanistan in confronting all forms of terrorism, extremism and violence, the statement added.
It expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The death toll in a massive tractor bomb explosion om Kabul has risen to 16 while 119 others were wounded, the Afghan Interior Ministry confirmed on Tuesday.
Zabiullah Mujahid, a purported Taliban spokesman, claimed responsibility for the attack.
