NEW DELHI, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- At least one person was killed in a stone-pelting incident in India-controlled Kashmir, police said on Monday.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening when the person, a truck driver, was hit by a stone thrown from a lane in Bijbehara, a town in Anantnag district of India-controlled Kashmir.
Police said that the stone pelters hurled stones on the truck mistaking it for a security vehicle.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
