KUNMING, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province busted two drug trafficking cases on April 16, seizing about 25 kg of methamphetamine, local authorities said Monday.
Around noon April 16, police at the border checkpoint of Qingshuihe Port in the city of Lincang, seized 10.43 kg of methamphetamine from the backpack of two suspects.
Around 5 p.m. on the same day, police found other two suspects hiding a backpack under a tree and seized 14.53 kg of methamphetamine in it.
The suspects have been put under criminal detention. Further investigation is underway.
