BEIJING, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will enjoy mostly good air in early and mid-April, with only mild air pollution in some areas, according to forecasts.
On Friday and Saturday, the central and southern parts of the region are expected to see moderate air pollution, with PM 2.5 the major pollutant, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said, citing forecasts by major environmental and meteorological monitoring centers.
Some parts of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions and nearby areas will see sand and dust around Sunday, resulting in moderate air pollution, with PM 10 the major pollutant, the ministry said.
Beijing will see mostly good air days in the coming week, with mild pollution expected from April 13 to 16.
