Since 2018, poverty alleviation workshops have been given priority in accelerating the ongoing poverty relief campaign in Dongxiang Autonomous County, by which poverty-stricken people have earned a steady job to help lift themselves out of poverty. So far, 18 poverty alleviation workshops have been established, creating job opportunities for over 700 locals, including more than 500 registered impoverished people.
