LUSAKA, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Zambian on Tuesday released the National Trade Policy and National Export Strategy in efforts to spur the country's export.
The documents have been aligned with the country's Seventh National Development Plan, Christopher Yaluma, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry said at an event to launch the two plans.
Export development will be placed at the center of the country's economic diversification and contribute to sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development, he said.
Under the plans, Zambia hopes to score a 15-percent growth in export year-on-year.
