WINDHOEK, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's national soccer team, the Brave Warriors qualified for AFCON 2019 despite a 4-1 loss to Zambia in Lusaka on Saturday.
Namibia advanced on a better head-to-head against Mozambique who lost 3-2 to Guenea Bissau.
Namibia missed two golden opportunities with one hitting the woodwork in the first half and the second disallowed for offside in the second half.
This is the third time that Namibia qualify for the African soccer extravaganza since independence.
