SOFIA, March 13 (Xinhua) -- A conference on the promotion of three key exhibitions, which will take place this year in Heilongjiang, China's northernmost province, was held here on Wednesday.
Li Haihong, Counsel at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Heilongjiang Committee, said that the 30th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (HTF) and the 6th China-Russia Expo will be held from June 15 to 19, while the 7th Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Expo will take place from Sept. 21 to 25.
Li said that consistently adhering to the concept of "Highlighting Russia, Facing Northeast Asia, Radiating the World, Serving All over China", the HTF has become an economic and trade link combining countries in Northeast Asia, as well as an important window and bridge for Heilongjiang open-up to international markets.
In 2014, the HTF was successfully upgraded into the China-Russia Expo, which has been held for five consecutive years, Li said at the conference, which was held in the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
He also said that with great geographic advantages, Heilongjiang has established a new pattern of all-round opening-up, constructed 11 Border Trade Zones and 16 Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones, and has deeply integrated itself into the Belt and Road Initiative.
"China is a very good partner of Bulgaria," BCCI president Tsvetan Simeonov said in turn.
"We consider every Chinese representative of business circles as an opportunity," Simeonov said.
Last year was one of the most successful years for Bulgaria's relations with China because Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited Bulgaria and the country hosted many other bilateral events, Simeonov noted.
