BEIRUT, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- British Ambassador to Lebanon Chris Rampling assured Monday that Britain is keen on supporting the Lebanese army, education and services sectors in the country, local media reported.
"We are committed to standing beside Lebanon while supporting the country in securing its stability," Rampling was quoted by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper, as saying.
Rampling said that his country supports Lebanon in its path towards forming a government.
"It is very important to form a government in a bid to face all the political and economic challenges facing the country," he said.
Rampling said that if each ministry puts enough efforts in dealing properly with the prevailing challenges then Lebanon will be able to reach stability.
Rampling also emphasized the importance of securing a safe return for refugees to their country.
