KHARTOUM, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir left for China on Friday to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) on Sept. 3-4, said the Information Department of Sudan's Presidency.
Al-Bashir will meet with Chinese leaders to review bilateral work within the framework of the strategic partnership signed during the last visit of al-Bashir to China, it said.
The Sudanese president is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Awad Ahmed al-Jaz, an official in charge of the Sino-Sudanese relations, and Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed.
