JAKARTA, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian cyclists dominated the mountain bike Cycling by winning two golds and one bronze at the 2018 Asian Games here on Monday.
Tiara Andini Prastika, a 22-year-old cyclist clocked a time of two minutes and 33.056 seconds to win the women's mountain bike downhill title, while her teammate Nining Purwaningsih took the bronze in 2:42.664.
The silver medal went to Vipavee Deekaballes of Thailand in 2:42.654.
Later on, Khoiful Mukhib added another gold for the host by winning the men's mountain bike downhill with a time of 2:16.687.
Chiang Shengshan of Chinese Taipei took the silver in 2:18.184, and Suebsakun Sukchanya of Thailand got the bronze in 2:18.449.
The 18th Asiad will stage 465 events out of 40 sports, among which 330 events from 32 sports will feature in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The 2018 Asian Games, attracting more than 10,000 athletes, will run through Sept. 2. Enditem
