LUANDA, April 12 (Xinhua) -- The Angolan senior women's handball team of 1o de Agosto won the Babacar Fall Super Cup in Cairo on Thursday, after beating the Cameroonian side of FAP 26-23.
Both teams tied 14-14 at half-time.
This is the fourth consecutive title won by the Angolan team, which will start competing in the 34th edition of Africa Championship for Clubs Winner's Cup on Friday.
For the Africa Championship for Clubs Winner's Cup, 1o de Agosto is in Group A, together with Cara of the Republic of Congo, HC Heritage of DRC, Dynamic of Cameroon and Al Ahly (host team).
The other Angolan team is in Group B, alongside with Fap of Cameroon, Abo Sport of the Republic of Congo, Stade Mandji of Gabon and Habitat HBC of Ivoiry Coast.
