PARIS, March 23 (Xinhua) -- French investigators on Friday placed a person in custody in connection with the Islamic State-claimed hostage-taking and shooting incident that left three victims dead and wounded 16 others in Trebes and Carcassone, south France, Paris prosecutors Francosi Molins said.
A person allegedly "close to" the terrorist and who "shared his life" was taken into custody for "criminal association in relation with a terrorist enterprise," Molins told reporters without elaborating.
